Tom CrimminsPlain and simple, Tom Crimmins is an overachiever! Regardless of what he has done in life, he has found success. He credits this success to hard work, dedication, loyalty, honesty, and integrity. He wins people over with his candid and charming personality, and his great reputation makes him the realtor of choice throughout Staten Island.

The native Staten Islander grew up in Westerleigh, where he still maintains many friends and contacts. As a young child, he attended Blessed Sacrament School, and he went on to attend high school at St. Peter’s Boys, finishing near the top of his class through hard work. While there, he played on the St. Peter’s basketball team. He was never a star, just a true team player and a necessary piece of the puzzle, and it was only through hard work and overachievement. From there, he attended St. John’s University in Staten Island and ultimately graduated with a business degree.

Although he had yet to find his calling at this point in his life, he knew he wanted to be in business for himself. Fresh out of school, he took on the role of assistant to the Dean of Students at St. John’s University. Although enjoyable, the position was not challenging enough. After a short stint on Wall Street, he became a New York City Police Officer, a job he loved!

Upon retiring from the NYPD as a Sergeant with many friends throughout the force, he decided to volunteer his time to local youth sports programs, most of his time spent coaching basketball. The volunteering inspired the opening of the Carnesecca-Sarachek Basketball Camp for children, another job he loved. The camps, of both the day-camp and sleep-away camp variety, flourished for fourteen years.

Throughout his adult life, Tom always managed to involve himself in real estate. His long resume includes personal investing, speculation, property management, and buying, fixing, and flipping homes. This inspired him to turn his interest into a successful career - first as an agent, then as an associate broker, and now as the broker and owner of his own firm, Tom Crimmins Realty.
